Lucy Cooper

Lucy Cooper

Lucy first stumbled through the back of the wardrobe into the School of Myth in 2016.

A lifelong lover of stories and fairytales, she realized she had found her mythic home, and has been all in for the mythical adventure ever since, going on to join the crew and complete her training as a Wilderness Vigil guide.

Lucy is editor at Cista Mystica Press. She has a BA in Anthropology, an MA in Professional Writing specialising in Cornish folktales, an MA in Myth and Ecology, and is author of The Element Encyclopedia of Fairies (HarperCollins).

Recently she completed a 350-mile walking pilgrimage on the Michael Mary Way, visiting ancient sites, holy wells, stone circles, churches and shrines, to reconnect in our times of ecological crisis with the teachings of the land.
