F​​​​​​​or the very first time, there will be a School of Myth four-night Winter School. Traditionally, longer tales are told in winter: the sagas and epics. Gathered round a Dartmoor fire in a grand old manor house, Martin will take us on a journey into tales that stretch deep into our primordial memory. There will be an opportunity to take a story into your dreams with at least one story hinged over two days. From Arthurian, Scandinavian and Irish sources, these incredible tales will move your soul to its very core.

WINTER SCHOOL with DR MARTIN SHAW

A residential course in a lovely old manor house on the edge of Dartmoor, Winter School with Dr. Martin Shaw includes 4-nights accommodation, all teaching and meals (locally sourced and seasonal where possible) from supper on arrival day to an early breakfast prior to departure.

Departure: 9AM

Accommodations

Manor House & Cottage

Accommodations in the manor house are mostly in shared rooms (up to six people). The budget beds are bunk beds in these shared rooms.

There are a few single rooms, a few rooms for two or three sharing and a few doubles for couples.

We also rent a cottage in the grounds (two-minutes walk from the main house) for 8 people, in double, twin and single rooms. Please ask for details.

All teaching and meals from supper on arrival day to early breakfast prior to departure and 4 nights accommodation are included in fees.

Single room: for one person – £1020

Twin room: sharing with one other -£894

Double room (for couples): £894 per person

Triple room: sharing with 2 others – £870

Standard shared room: sharing with 3 to 6 others – £828

Budget bunk bed: a bunk bed in a standard shared room – £786
